You are creating a new related page (subpage). The main features of this page are as shown below:
A page title must be given. It is entered into the Page Title box by clicking in the box and then entering its chosen name. The page title will be shown on the parent page as the clickable, related page link, and also at the top of this new subpage when it is viewed.
Immediately below the Page Title box is a toolbar which may be used when entering and editing text in the text block. N.B. If you do not see the toolbar, it is because your browser does not have Javascript enabled. It is still possible to perform most of the site's administration and control features without Javascript, but it will be less easy to use and there will be some loss of functionality. For administration workstations, we recommend enabling Javascript in your browser. If you use IE6, we also recommend enabling safe ActiveX. Please see the related tutorial Empower Your Browser if you are unsure how to enable Javascript and/or ActiveX.
The large, rectangular region below the toolbar is for entering the text block to be displayed at the top of the page when it is viewed. Text entered in this area may also be enhanced using the toolbar tools. For more detailed information on text objects, please read the Working With Text tutorial.
When you have entered the page title and (optionally) the text block, you may save your new page by clicking on the Create button, just above the preview pane. Alternatively, you may discard your work by clicking on the Cancel button.
If you have Javascript enabled in your browser, you may also check the progress of your work by clicking on the Update Preview button. This will show you what the page will look like, without actually finalising your changes - you will still need to press Create to commit your changes to the site.
Once you have created your page, you may navigate to it and add other items (inline images, gallery images, further related pages, etc.).
