Working With Galleries

Introduction

Galleries may be placed on many pages within your site. A gallery is simply an ordered list of thumbnail images which may be clicked on to see the full-sized image. When viewing a full-sized image, the gallery may be navigated forwards or backwards to see the next or previous image in the sequence.

Navigate to previous image.

Navigate to next image.

Navigate to gallery main page.

Changing The Order of Gallery Images

Using your mouse, simply click and hold down the left button on the image you want to move and then drag it into its new position. You will see the other images move around to accommodate the moving of your dragged image. When you release the mouse button, the image will remain in its new position. You may notice two small flashing "computer images" appear briefly over the image when you release the mouse button. This is perfectly normal and is just your PC telling your website where the image is to be located.

N.B. Drag and drop of inline images will only work if your browser has Javascript enabled (and if using IE6, also has safe ActiveX enabled). Please see Empower Your Browser if you need to enable these features.

Changing or Deleting a Gallery Image

Each gallery thumbnail image has two control buttons embedded in the top, right corner. N.B. These control buttons are only visible when signed in to edit the page. The left hand button may be used to edit the image (change the size, aspect ratio, title - or even the image itself). The right hand button may be used to delete the gallery image completely.
